PLX retroreflector array - Hollow retroreflector mirror array - Hollow retroreflector array is used for modern FTIR long-range spectral analysis over large ranges and long distances, providing high-quality wavefronts to achieve perfect parallelism and efficient return between the incident and outgoing beams. The standard hollow retroreflector array consists of a single 2.5-inch (63mm) aperture hollow retroreflector with a maximum deviation of 5.0 or 20.0 arc seconds. The retroreflectors can be installed separately on aluminum plates, with very tight spacing between them, so that the array resembles a huge self compensating mirror surface. Individual retroreflectors can be replaced when damaged. The board is installed in a durable steel casing with a protective door. PLX can also customize HRA hollow reflex mirror arrays according to customer needs. The size of the array can range from a few inches to several feet in diameter. We can provide a single retroreflector of any size in the array with an accuracy better than 1 arc second maximum deviation. Mirror coatings can also be customized for specific wavelengths and high-power laser applications.
